DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION

The selection of students is conducted in accordance with the applicable legislation, the NKUA Regulations for Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies, and the provisions of the present Programme Regulations.

Each year, during the month of June, following a decision by the Assembly of the Department of Nursing of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a call for applications for admission to the Postgraduate Programme is published and posted on the websites of both the Department and the University. Applications, together with the required supporting documents, must be submitted through the NKUA Electronic Request Submission Service within the deadline specified in the call for applications. This deadline may be extended by decision of the Assembly of the Department of Nursing.

The following documents are required:

1. Online application form, completed electronically through the platform.
2. Application Annex – Departmental Application Form, provided on pages 5 and 6. Once completed, it must be uploaded to the platform.
3. Curriculum vitae.
4. Copy of the undergraduate degree certificate or certificate confirming completion of studies.
5. Official transcript of records for first-cycle undergraduate studies.
6. Proof of identity.
7. Certificate demonstrating English-language proficiency at a minimum level of B2, or adequate knowledge of English as assessed by the Programme’s Admissions Selection Committee.
8. Copy of a relevant postgraduate degree, if applicable.
9. Certificate of proficiency in the use of basic computer applications or a certified relevant solemn declaration.
10. Academic papers, publications and conference presentations, submitted electronically, if applicable.
11. Evidence of relevant professional or research experience, if applicable.
12. Two (2) letters of recommendation, if available.
13. Recognition of a foreign academic qualification, where required.

Documents 1–7 are mandatory and must be submitted with the application.

Applications and all supporting documents must be submitted through the NKUA Electronic Request Submission Service by selecting Option 5. The submitted documents will then be forwarded to the Central Secretariat of the Department of Nursing.
